How Long Does It Take To Beat Persona 5 Strikers?

Fans have been excited for the new Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, known simply as Persona 5 Strikers in America, ever since it appeared on Atlus' development schedule in 2019. In 2020, gamers got a small update via unofficial sources, creating even more hype for the anticipated sequel to Persona 5. Now, with the game fast approaching its Feb. 23 release date, fans might be wondering about some of the smaller details of the game, like how long they can expect to play through its story.

Persona 5 Strikers is a musou-style action game with real-time battles and a story that continues the adventures of Persona 5. Gamers might be familiar with Musou games like Dynasty Warriors, or the Zelda spinoff Hyrule Warriors. In a recent issue of Famitsu, reviewers covered their impressions of the game, giving it high scores for a total of 36/40 points. These reviewers also revealed how long it will take most gamers to complete Persona 5 Strikers.

What did the reviewers say?

Persona 5 can easily take players over 100 hours to complete, especially if they opt to, as the game suggests, take their time. Persona 5 Strikers might not feature a plot as long as its predecessor, but it's still a full game in its own right, boasting a story mode and plenty of other features. Famitsu's  reviewers reported that the story mode of Persona 5 Strikers should take around 45 hours to complete. However, beating the story mode unlocks a new difficulty mode and new game plus feature, which adds even more replayability to the game.

With all four Japanese critics giving Persona 5 Strikers a 9 out of 10, American gamers have a lot to get excited about. For now, fans will have to remain content with the limited info available about Strikers while waiting for its release. Or, maybe, it might be a good idea to practice by whipping out Dynasty Warriors or Hyrule Warriors. After all, it's never too early to get in fighting shape.
